Brand Development & Packaging

Shachi's Spice Girl Sauces is a founder-led artisan hot sauce brand rooted in Indian culinary heritage and built around the philosophy of balance: in flavor, in heat, and in life. TVB was engaged to bring that story to life from the ground up.


Brand Foundation

We began with a comprehensive brand foundation process, conducting positioning research to understand the competitive landscape and identify the white space where Shachi's could authentically own a distinctive place in the market. From there, we defined the brand's core constituent segments, mapping who the sauces speak to and why. We also developed a vocabulary framework that established the language, tone, and personality to carry through every brand touchpoint. That research and discovery culminated in a unifying brand idea that captures the spirit of the line: a celebration of Indian heritage made approachable and craveable for a wide range of palates, anchored by the balance and intentionality Shachi learned from the late Chef Floyd Cardoz.


Logo & Visual Identity

With the brand foundation in place, we translated the strategic work into a visual identity, developing a logo that reflects both the warmth of Shachi's personal story and the bold, vibrant character of the sauces themselves. To support consistent application of the identity across all contexts, we also built out a custom icon library, giving the brand a flexible set of visual assets that extend its personality beyond the logo.


Packaging Design

The identity system extended into full packaging design for the sauce line, bringing together the brand's Indian roots, its founder's voice, and a visual personality that stands out on shelf while communicating the quality, craft, and range of the products, from mild to bold, breakfast to dinner, drizzle to dip.


Brand Guide & Sales Materials

To equip Shachi and her team for growth, we codified the entire brand system into a comprehensive brand guide, documenting the strategy, visual standards, voice, and usage rules that ensure consistent brand presentation as it scales. We also developed sell sheets to support retail and wholesale conversations, giving the brand a polished, professional presence in front of buyers and partners.

The Visual Brand
