Background
Field Trip is a leading specialty foods brand formed by three friends in 2010 who saw the need to transform meat snack alternatives in a broken marketplace after tasting their first craft jerky in Vermont. Field Trip saw the need for healthier protein-rich snacks that didn't sacrifice quality and taste. Field Trip is a health lifestyle brand above all, aimed at providing delicious and versatile snacks that complement a large variety of on-the-go consumers.
Challenge
Field Trip faced sales challenges during the pandemic, as channels were disrupted and supply chains were impacted. As they emerged, a branding reset felt appropriate, as they reintroduced to new channels on and offline.
We refreshed their packaging language from their previous ultra-realistic and illustrative aesthetic to be modernized and simplified.
Preserving their iconic use of animals, we paid tribute through their silhouettes, with emphasis on the outdoors and use of vibrant colors that reflect the tastiness of their snacks.
